FORESTRY

Our Internationally accredited and sustainably farmed pine and eucalyptus plantations are a source to our basket of products which include sawlogs; structural and industrial lumber (treated and untreated); transmission poles; CCA treated poles for the agricultural sector; shelving; biomass; and cross laminated modular housing units.

MANUFACTURING

Our manufacturing sites use relevant technology in processing timber to ensure we produce high quality products for our diverse customers from various industries including: building; fencing; retail; mining; electricity; telecoms; agriculture; food and beverage.

BIOMASS

Our biomass products are derived from our manufacturing processes and forest residue form our plantations to the benefit of our customers in the food and beverage, textile and agriculture sectors.

AGRICULTURE

Our Agric business enables a totally integrated approach to sustainable land use thus contributing to our success. Our macadamia orchards and dehusking plant in Mpumalanga and avocado interest in Tzaneen ensure that we have a footprint in the dynamic agriculture sector.

ECOTOURISM

Expanding beyond our core operations, our ecotourism business presents a captivating range of recreational opportunities within our plantations, situated in Jonkershoek, Garden Route and Lowveld. MTO Trails, Part of the MTO Group, offers world-class trails and tracks for mountain bikers, trail runners, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts.

We are proud to be associated with the world's 1st stadium purpose built for social change in Lesotho - the Stadium of Life, an innovative project led by kick4life.org.

 

Over 8000 CCA treated and high-quality poles, used in the construction of the stadium, have been sourced from our sustainably farmed eucalyptus plantations - a testament to our commitment to excellence.
